Media Agent 11.0.3 and Dashboard for API 2.2.15 Release Notes

The latest agent version 11.0.3 includes performance improvements for better stability and is now available for download.  AP Media Agent has always used the encrypted HTTPS protocol, and Agent 11.x supplies the API key in the HTTP request header.

If you are running older versions of the agent, we strongly urge you to automatically upgrade to the latest version to avoid potential issues and take full advantage of the new features and improved performance in the latest releases of the agent, dashboard and AP Media API.

 

 

 

Applying Session Tracking Labels to Agents

The new CMS Name and Version box on the Manage Ingest page of the Agent Dashboard allows you to apply an optional session tracking label to your agent, such as the name and version of your Content Management System (CMS). The maximum number of characters in the label is 48, and only alphanumeric characters, periods, underscores and hyphens are allowed (a-z, A-Z, 0-9, . , _ and - ); for example:

Once the agent is saved and starts ingesting content, the tracking label is assigned to any Media API session that the agent is working with and maintained on the session when the agent gets the next set of content. The label appears in the session_label property value in the response; for example:
