About Bylines
The bylines
field indicates the party who created or contributed to the content (if
available and not captured in the photographer
field); for example, a writer (for text stories), an editor (for graphics)
or a speaker (for audio).

AP Text Stories
AP English-language story content typically contains the word "By"
in the bylines.by field; for example:
